Nintendo Wii Review

My first real gaming system that I ever bought for myself was the Nintendo NES. That was when they had really big game cartridges. And whenever the game wouldn’t work properly you would have to take the cartridge out and blow in it really hard and then shove it back into the console.

As the years went by, I owned a number of Nintendo systems from the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and then the Game Cube. Even other systems like the Xbox.

I just didn’t think they could get any better but then 2006 rolled around and the Nintendo Wiicame out. Like thousands of others I began the hunt for one of these systems to see if it was really what is was all that is was hyped up to be. Mind you I was not sure about the whole wireless thing, since I had purchased wireless controllers for other gaming systems and was no way thrilled at their performance.

Well one day by sheer luck I happened to score one of these Nintendo Wii'sonline. The day it came I was so excited. We set the system up which did not take long at all and began to try it out. My system came with the Wii sports pack which included games like Tennis, Baseball and even Bowling.

It didn’t take me long to realize this was the BEST gaming system I had ever played in my entire life. I could not believe how awesome it was that whatever you did your mii (Nintendo gaming character) would do too. The wireless capabilities were amazing, far beyond compare to those so called other wireless controllers. Finally a video game system that actually gets the player up and moving and sometimes working out your whole body instead of just your thumbs.

Several games later I would not trade my Nintendo Wiifor anything and am no longer interested in playing any other gaming system.

I would recommend the Nintendo Wii for anyone who enjoys really enjoys getting into the game.
